Personal statement:

I decided to join, and become a candidate for, the Revolution Party because I believe a revolution is necessary. I'm not talking about a violent uprising; I'm talking about a marked shift from a status quo that exists to further entrench the power and wealth of those who already have it at the expense of the working class. I'm talking about systemic change that leaves the contradictions of capitalism behind, and works to build a system built around providing what people want and need, rather than profit and exploitation.
